Discriminación entre Atletas y No Atletas Basada en la Estructura Latente de Algunas Variables Biométricas International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.

Manifest and Latent Relations between Intracranial Capacity and Cephalofacial Indexes International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.
The goals of this study were to find the average intracranial capacity of the living male-entities of Kosovo Albanian population, to define cephalofacial indexes and their interrelations with intracranial capacity and to explore their latent structure. Eight cephalofacial variables have been measured in 571 male entities of the Kosovo Albanian population, aged 18-35 years old. Of these measurements, 6 cephalofacial indexes and intracranial capacity were calculated. According to the results of Table it can be concluded that most of Albanian males from Kosovo have long, wide and average height head, as well as most of them have brachiocephalic head, low hypsicephalic, and tapeinocephalic head, with intracranial capacity 1379.2cc. Regression Analyzes show...

Neurocranial Morphology of the Albanian Kosovo Population International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.
The purpose of this research publication in reference to the morphological features of the head of a Kosovo Albanian population takes us one step further toward studying the anthropological status of Kosovo Albanian population. Three cephalofacial variables were measured in 754 Kosovo subjects, between 18-35 years of age, 561 male and 193 female. The categorization of the head size of the treated subjects was done based on the head length (G-Op), head width (Eu-Eu), and head height (V-Po), according to the Lebzelter-Saler scale (head length and width) and Routil scale (head height). Results show that the head of the male subjects was characterized by long (50.1%), large (49.7%) and medium high head (46%), whereas, female subjects was characterized by a...

Physical Characteristics at Different Ages International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul; Krasniqi,Asllan.
The purpose of this study was to study, observe, and clarify the dynamics of physical growth, as well as changes of some morphometrical and physiological variables of Kosovo population. 17,894 males from Kosovo between 6 and 51 years of age and older, were measured:. body height, body weight, BMI, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, and VO max were recorded. The measurement data were processed through these descriptive statistical parameters: Mean, Standard-Deviation and the Coefficient of Variation, SD shows the similar dispersion of results between one age and another. CV signifies the reliability of the measurements that were carried out. The curve of body height for individuals between 6 and 17 years of age shows increases, for...

Prediction of Explosive Power of Basketball Players Based on their Morpho-Functional Characteristics International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul; Mucolli,Azbije.
The aim of this study was to define the morpho-functional variables that best predict the explosive power of the lower extremities of basketball players of Kosova. On 113 basketball players average aged 21.3 years old, 15 morpho-functional variables were measured: Stature, Body Weight, Humeral Perimeter, Chest Perimeter, Abdominal Perimeter, Thigh Perimeter, Calf Perimeter, Triceps Skinfold, Subscapular Skinfold, Abdominal Skinfold, Thigh Skinfold, Calf Skinfold, Heart Rate, VO2max.rel., and Explosive Power that was tested through Margaria-Kalamen Test. All tested basketball players are competitors in the Super League of Kosova. Linear regression of the data indicates that the system of 13 morpho-functional predictive variables explains 62.5% of total...

Prediction of Stature According to Three Head Measurements International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.
Morphometry is a non-invasive method important to assess the size, proportions, and composition of the human body. Because the prediction is an important subject in almost all life sciences, the aim of this research was to find out the cephalofacial variables that may predict the body height. Three cephalofacial variables and the body height were measured on 288 adult male subjects of the Kosovo Albanian population, aged 1835 years old. Using the procedures of regressive analysis we found that cephalofacial variables: head height, head circumferences, face height, significantly may predict body height, and in this way we derived the specific regression equation for estimation of the body height, based on these cephalofacial variables. The predicted body...

The Differences in Body Volume and Skinfold Thickness Between Basketball Players and Footballers International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.
The human body is composed of lean tissues that are metabolically active, and fat tissue that is not metabolically active, but is an essential part of human body. Training is a significant factor affecting body composition, performance, as well and physiological parameters. The aim of this study was through changeable of 13 measured anthropometrical variables, to research the influence of different sports in body composition. The anthropometrical tests were done on 90 basketball players and 512 footballers from Kosova. The gained results were analyzed in terms of basic statistical parameters, T-test, and Canonical Discriminant Analysis. T-test shows that basketballers and footballers have realized significant differences in almost all measured variables....

The Latency of the Female's Cephalofacial Variables International Journal of Morphology
Rexhepi,Agron M; Brestovci,Behlul.
The human craniofacial bones are certainly the most important part of the body, as well as the foundation for the soft tissues of the face and head. This part of the body is extremely complex structure, which has a number of important functions, such are: diet, special senses, protection, communication. The main purpose of this research was to study and explain the latent structure of the cephalofacial measurements of female subjects. On 193 female subjects aged 18-35 years, we measured 11 cephalofacial measurements. The collected data are analyzed through descriptive parameters, Correlation analysis, and Factorial analyses. According to the results of the basic parameters the measured subjects are characterized with long, large and medium height head....
